David Ross Sports Village, Transforming University Sports Facilities

EP Consulting is pleased to share our recent project at the David Ross Sports Village, University of Nottingham. We undertook a £380k feasibility, design, and supervision project to elevate the swimming pool and spa facilities at University Park.

Scope of Work

Our engagement with the David Ross Sports Village involved a detailed feasibility study and performance design to optimise the swimming pool and spa areas. We provided comprehensive mechanical and electrical design services, ensuring the updated facilities met performance and sustainability standards. Our role also included precise budget costing and site supervision to oversee the alterations and refurbishment work, which was completed over 33 weeks.

Challenges and Solutions

Revamping the sports village's aquatic facilities presented several challenges, including integrating new mechanical systems with existing infrastructure and ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing activities.
