Overview

EP Consulting played a key role in the successful delivery of the new Entertainment Hive at Woburn Forest, designing and coordinating sustainable M&E services to support an immersive, energy-efficient visitor experience. Completed in just 17 weeks, this high-spec project demonstrates our expertise in smart building technologies and modern exposed service design for high-footfall leisure environments.

Scope of Work

Our engineers delivered full M&E design and site support for: two energy-efficient VRF systems, ductwork and mains distribution. We implemented smart HVAC with 360° air heating and cooling cassettes, RGB dynamic lighting, zonal lighting control and scene setting, and a fully integrated comms system—prioritising comfort, atmosphere and sustainability.

Challenges and Solutions

Fast-tracked delivery and high performance demands meant coordination was critical. We worked closely with the wider project team to streamline installation, reduce energy use, and ensure the exposed services aligned with the modern design aesthetic. Our flexible, hands-on approach ensured seamless project completion—on time, and to spec.
