The New Carr Lane Sports Pavilion

EP Consulting led the £400k new build of Carr Lane Sports Pavilion in Warsop for Mansfield District Council, delivering modern changing rooms and recreational facilities with a strong focus on sustainability.

Scope of Work

We provided feasibility studies, budget costing, and full mechanical and electrical design. Our work included integrating renewable energy solutions such as geothermal heating and a heat recovery system, ensuring compliance with Part L2 Building Regulations. 

Challenges and Solutions

The 22-week build required efficient integration of advanced sustainable technologies. We tackled this by implementing geothermal heating and a heat recovery system, which significantly enhanced the building’s energy performance while minimising environmental impact.
