EP Consulting led the £100k refurbishment of Windsor House in Louth for Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. This project involved updating and expanding the facility to enhance safety and functionality.
Scope of Work
Our team managed feasibility studies, budget costing, and comprehensive mechanical and electrical design. Key updates included anti-ligature installations and the creation of a “Seclusion Suite” featuring a lounge, seclusion room, and wet room. We also ensured compliance with Health Guiding Note ‘HBN’ 03-01, Health Technical Memoranda ‘HTM, CIBSE guidelines and building regulations.
Challenges and Solutions
The 12-week refurbishment required careful planning to minimise disruption while integrating advanced safety features. Our phased approach allowed for efficient installation and reinstatement of mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring the facility remained operational throughout the upgrade.
