Rowan House Buxton, a £1m M&E Upgrade
EP Consulting provided comprehensive mechanical and electrical (M&E) design for the £1m Rowan House project in Buxton, Norwich. This new reception building serves as the control centre for security systems at an 88-bed mental health facility developed for Care Principles.
Scope of Work
Our team handled all aspects of M&E design during this 26-week project, including feasibility studies and budget costing. We focused on integrating renewable energy solutions and ensuring compliance with HBN 03-01, HTMs and CIBSE guidelines. We produced a thermal model for the building to ensure optimal energy efficiency, created a BRUKL report and ensured compliance with Part L2 Building Regulations.
