Linden House York, a £1m M&E Design
EP Consulting delivered full mechanical and electrical (M&E) design services for the £1m Linden House project in Market Weighton, York. This reception building is the control centre for security systems at a 97-bed mental health facility developed for Care Principles.
Scope of Work
Our engineers provided end-to-end M&E design, including feasibility studies and budget costing. We produced a thermal model for the building to ensure optimal energy efficiency, created a BRUKL report and ensured compliance with Part L2 Building Regulations. The project, completed over 24 weeks, focused on creating an efficient and secure operational hub.
Challenges and Solutions
The design required a robust security infrastructure combined with advanced energy solutions. We addressed these challenges by integrating high-performance M&E systems that meet regulatory standards and optimise energy efficiency.
Results and Impact
Linden House now houses a cutting-edge control centre, boosting the security and functionality of the mental health facility. EP Consulting’s expert design has created a secure, efficient environment that supports the critical operations of Care Principles.
