Transforming Repton Health Centre, Advanced BMS and Energy Solutions

EP Consulting is delighted to have completed the refurbishment of Repton Health Centre for Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Trust.

Scope of Work

The project encompassed a comprehensive refurbishment of the main entrance, waiting room, and clinical rooms. A key feature was the £12k installation of a Building Management System (BMS) to control heating, hot water, and ventilation. Additionally, we installed Ormandy Rycroft Vari-E-Breeze packaged plate heat exchangers to efficiently generate hot water.

Challenges and Solutions

Ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing healthcare services was paramount. Our team executed the refurbishment within a 26-week timeframe, employing meticulous planning and phased work schedules. The integration of the BMS and advanced heat exchanger systems required precise mechanical and electrical designs, which we delivered seamlessly.

Results and Impact

The Repton Health Centre refurbishment was completed on time and within budget, significantly enhancing the facility’s energy efficiency and operational functionality. The newly installed BMS and heat exchangers ensure optimal climate control and hot water supply, contributing to a more comfortable environment for patients and staff.
