Clipstone Health Centre Undergoes £850k Modernisation and Expansion

EP Consulting delivered critical engineering services for the £850k refurbishment and extension of Clipstone Health Centre in Nottinghamshire, commissioned by Nottinghamshire Healthcare (NHS) Trust. This project modernised the facility to enhance its functionality and safety.

Scope of Work

Our team managed the total re-wiring and re-heating of the existing building, added two new trainee GP rooms, and installed a completely new fire alarm system. We handled feasibility studies, budget costing, and comprehensive mechanical and electrical design. Compliance with Part L2 Building Regulations was ensured throughout.

Challenges and Solutions

The 26-week project required seamless integration of new systems into the existing infrastructure. We addressed this by executing a thorough re-wiring and re-heating plan and installing advanced safety systems, ensuring minimal disruption and compliance with all regulatory standards.
