Improving Healthcare Infrastructure at Bilborough Medical Centre

EP Consulting is pleased to have contributed to the £600k extension of Bilborough Medical Centre in Nottingham, enhancing the facility for NHS Nottingham City. This project expanded the practice with new treatment and consulting rooms, a sluice room, and additional toilets, improving patient care and facility functionality.

Scope of Work

We managed feasibility studies, budget costing, and full mechanical and electrical design. Collaborating with Roger Harrison Architecture, we ensured the extension adhered to Part L2 Building Regulations. The 22-week project seamlessly integrated new systems into the existing infrastructure, elevating the centre’s capabilities.

Challenges and Solutions

The extension involved adding critical new spaces to an operational medical facility, which required careful planning to minimise disruptions. Our engineering solutions included efficient mechanical and electrical designs, ensuring compliance with energy regulations and enhancing the overall efficiency of the practice.

Results and Impact

The newly expanded facility now offers improved treatment and consulting spaces in a modern, compliant environment. This project reflects our expertise in enhancing healthcare facilities with high-quality engineering solutions that benefit the community.
