Pye Avenue Housing Development, Sustainable, Affordable Homes

EP Consulting successfully completed the Pye Avenue housing development in Mansfield, a £1.76 million project for Mansfield District Council. This initiative delivered twelve environmentally efficient 2- and 3-bedroom houses designed to provide high-quality, affordable housing for elderly or disabled residents. Each two-story house is intended for social rent, ensuring accessibility and comfort for all tenants.

Scope of Work

The Pye Avenue development is a benchmark for sustainability and energy efficiency. Our team provided comprehensive mechanical and electrical design services, integrating rainwater harvesting systems and renewable energy solutions to minimise environmental impact. We produced a thermal model for the building to ensure optimal energy efficiency, created a BRUKL report and ensured compliance with Part L2 Building Regulations.
