EP Consulting is proud to have been a key partner in the £2.4m transformation of Michael Varnam House in Nottingham for Framework Housing Association. This project involved refurbishing and converting an existing building into a gated community comprising 16 self-contained flats and two en-suite community-supported detoxification beds. The facility also includes communal and office spaces, ensuring a supportive and inclusive environment for residents.
Scope of Work
Our team conducted detailed feasibility studies and budget costing to ensure the project's success. We delivered comprehensive mechanical and electrical design services, incorporating renewable energy solutions to enhance sustainability. We produced a thermal model for the building to ensure the development met optimal energy efficiency standards, created a BRUKL report and ensured compliance with Part L2 Building Regulations.
