EP Consulting completed a £900k refurbishment of the Oker Ward at Whitworth Hospital in Matlock, enhancing patient care for Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Trust. This project transformed the ward into a modern rehabilitation space, featuring en-suite facilities and a new four-bed unit to support patients’ recovery journeys.
Scope of Work
Our team conducted feasibility studies and budget costing to ensure precise planning and execution. We provided detailed mechanical and electrical designs. We produced a thermal model for the building to ensure optimal energy efficiency and created a BRUKL report. The refurbishment complied with Part L2 Building Regulations, integrating advanced technologies to enhance patient comfort and care.
