EP Consulting successfully completed the £2 million conversion of The Old Palace in Lincoln, a Grade II listed former Bishop’s palace, into a luxurious boutique hotel. This project added 32 elegant bedrooms and modern conference suites, harmoniously blending the historic Victorian and Georgian architecture with contemporary amenities.
Scope of Work
Our team provided thorough feasibility studies and budget costing, delivering detailed mechanical and electrical design services. The refurbishment included advanced HVAC systems for optimal comfort while preserving the building’s historic charm. We installed energy-efficient lighting and sophisticated telecommunications infrastructure. We produced a thermal model for the building to ensure optimal energy efficiency, created a BRUKL report and ensured compliance with Part L2 Building Regulations.
