This £1.5 million refurbishment project has transformed The Venue, at Center Parcs, Sherwood Forest into a state-of-the-art, multi-functional event space accommodating up to 550 guests. Perfect for large and small gatherings, The Venue features modern design and advanced technology.

Scope of Work

Our comprehensive services included feasibility studies, mechanical and electrical design, and integration of low and zero-carbon technologies. Key upgrades include cutting-edge AV systems, automated soundproof partitions, and full facilities for high-tech AV productions. We also designed office spaces, a full kitchen, and a permanent bar, adhering to Part L2 Building Regulations.

Challenges and Solutions

Creating a flexible space to allow for simultaneous events without noise interference was the primary challenge. This was addressed by the installation of advanced soundproof partition walls and sophisticated AV systems. The Venue’s ability to support complex AV setups, such as LED giant screens and truss lighting rigs, was achieved through detailed planning and some innovative design solutions.
