EP Consulting played a key role in a £280k project to replace and upgrade the heating system at Buxton Police Station, enhancing efficiency and performance.

Scope of Work

The project involved replacing the entire heating distribution system, including emitters and distribution mains from the plant room. A new Trend iQ3 control system was installed, integrating seamlessly with the regional control system at Derbyshire Constabulary’s Headquarters in Ripley. This upgrade was designed to optimise heating performance and improve operational efficiency. 

EP Consulting provided comprehensive mechanical design services, including feasibility studies, budget costing, and detailed design. We produced a thermal model for the building to ensure optimal energy efficiency and created a BRUKL report. We ensured compliance with Part L2 Building Regulations and incorporated renewable energy solutions to meet sustainability objectives.
