Worksop College £3m Upgrade for the New Girls' Boarding House
EP Consulting played a key role in the development of a new £3m girls' boarding house at Worksop College, Nottinghamshire. This project added 50 additional beds, enhancing the accommodation facilities at this prestigious school with advanced M&E design solutions.
Scope of Work
We delivered a comprehensive M&E design package, including feasibility studies and budget costing. We produced a thermal model for the building to ensure optimal energy efficiency, created a BRUKL report and ensured compliance with Part L2 Building Regulations. Key installations included underfloor heating, a new water treatment plant fed from an onsite bore-hole well, a fire alarm system, data and telephone systems, intruder alarm systems, CCTV, satellite TV, and a disabled persons alarm system.
