Creative Heartland Incubator Centre, a £4.8m Redevelopment

EP Consulting played a crucial role in the £4.8m redevelopment of an underused building in Leicester, transforming it into the Creative Heartland Incubator Centre (CHIC). This project created a managed workspace with high-quality, affordable accommodation tailored for emerging creative industries.

Scope of Work

Our team conducted feasibility studies, budget costing, and detailed mechanical and electrical design. We produced a thermal model for the building to optimise energy efficiency and integrated advanced renewable energy solutions. Additionally, we created a BRUKL report and ensured compliance with Part L2 Building Regulations.
