Cotgrave Town Centre £10.5m Urban Redevelopment

EP Consulting is proud to have successfully completed the Cotgrave Town Centre regeneration project in Nottingham for Rushcliffe Borough Council. This £10.5m multi-phase scheme highlights our expertise in urban redevelopment and building services engineering, transforming the town centre into a vibrant community hub.

Scope of Work

The project involved creating a new multi-service centre on Scotland Bank, which houses GPs, police, a library, and a Rushcliffe Borough Council contact point. Additionally, the project included improvements to shop units, converting flats above the shops into a business centre, developing a children's play area, and installing two electric vehicle charging points. The scheme also involved constructing 15 new industrial units on the former Cotgrave colliery site.

Challenges and Solutions

The phased nature of this project, spanning 217 weeks, required meticulous planning and coordination. Each phase's success was contingent on the previous phase's completion. Our team executed detailed feasibility studies, budget costing, and precise mechanical and electrical designs to ensure smooth transitions between phases.
