EP Consulting played a key role in the £1m refurbishment of Grade 2 Listed Boughton Pumping Station in Ollerton. This project was undertaken for the Boughton Pumping Station Partnership Trust, focusing on modernising the building while preserving its historical significance.
Scope of Work
Our team delivered a comprehensive electrical design package for the refurbishment. Our services included feasibility studies and budget costing. We produced a thermal model for the building, created a BRUKL report and ensured compliance with Part L2 Building Regulations. We incorporated renewable energy solutions to enhance the building's sustainability.
The refurbishment involved upgrading the electrical infrastructure to meet contemporary standards while respecting the building’s historical value. The project, managed and designed by James Totty Partnership, was completed within a 32-week timeframe.
