Whitchurch Community Hospital, Shropshire
Works are complete for this £109k boiler replacement scheme for Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust. The project included the installation of new boiler plant and associated flues, pumps, pipework in the plant room and connections into existing services distribution pipework, and boiler condense drainage. Within the plant room modifications to the mains cold water distribution pipework and existing gas pipework were required to suit the new plant layout, together with modifications to the existing Trend IQ3 Mechanical Services Control Panel and the provision of all necessary power and controls wiring. The works also involved the removal of the existing six Keston gas fired boilers and mechanical equipment, flues, pipework, etc.
