New Health Centre to replace Heanor Memorial Hospital

Heanor Memorial Hospital is due to be demolished having been deemed to have "reached the end of its life”. The hospital has been closed to patients since September 2013. EP Consulting have been appointed M&E design consultants and are working closely with Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation on a £2.5m project to build a new health centre on the site. Our extensive knowledge of health and medical facilities will be invaluable on this project. It is envisaged the new health centre will open in 2017 having achieved a BREEAM ‘excellent’ standard.
