EP Consulting Explores the Future of Smart Lighting
EP Consulting’s Electrical Design Engineers recently attended an insightful CPD session led by Leigh Davey and Russell Joseph of Luceco Lighting, designers and manufacturers of high-quality, energy-efficient LED lighting systems. The session explored Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) lighting control, a technology that is reshaping how modern buildings manage energy and performance.
Bluetooth LE lighting control offers a range of benefits, helping designers and building owners achieve Part L Building Regulations compliance, monitor energy use in real time, and deliver flexible, scalable and cost-effective lighting solutions for both new and existing buildings.
The session also highlighted how Bluetooth mesh networking supports secure and interoperable control systems, allowing lighting installations to be optimised across large spaces while reducing running costs and carbon emissions.
At EP Consulting, continuous learning and professional development are key to delivering smarter, greener solutions. Our building services engineers remain committed to advancing sustainable building services design and integrating technologies that enhance efficiency and environmental performance.A sincere thank you to Leigh, Russell and Luceco Lighting for sharing their expertise and contributing to our ongoing commitment to innovation and sustainability
