Our team of building services engineers have been hard at work to ensure this multi-million-pound project meets the highest standards of sustainability and efficiency. Here’s a sneak peek into the innovative features that make this facility a game-changer for the community:
Sustainable Energy Solutions: Equipped with Photovoltaic Solar Panels, LED lighting, and electric vehicle charging points, the new station is designed to minimise its environmental footprint while ensuring long-term cost savings. Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) Heat Pumps Installations systems ensure optimal heating and cooling efficiency. Providing Renewable Technology to provide an efficient and comfortable environment internally, without utilising fossil fuels.
Modern Facilities: The fire station boasts individual gender-neutral changing pods, comprehensive training facilities, and a specialised smoke house for realistic training scenarios.
Comprehensive Design: The steel-framed appliance bay will house two emergency vehicles, while the ancillary space includes offices, storage, and rest areas, providing a comprehensive support structure for the fire service’s crucial work.
