Experience

As the Director and Company Secretary at EP Consulting, Robert Pitchford has been immersed in the field of electrical engineering for 40 years. His career with EP Consulting began in 1985 as a Trainee Engineer. By 1997, he had achieved Chartered Engineer status and become an Associate Partner. When the company became a limited entity in 2000, he stepped into the role of Director.

Robert leads the Electrical Design Department, specialising in large-scale healthcare projects. His experience includes overseeing electrical designs for projects valued at up to £45 million, ensuring they meet the stringent standards required by NHS Trusts and Primary Care Trusts. He has also managed electrical engineering projects across various sectors, including sports and leisure, commercial, and educational facilities, as well as complex installations in historic and listed buildings.

He holds a BEng (Hons) in Electrical Engineering from Nottingham University and is a Chartered Engineer. Robert is also a Fellow of the Institute of Healthcare Engineering & Estate Management, and a member of both the Institute of Engineering & Technology and the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers.
