A £400k refurbishment and extension works to the Brachytherapy & Superficial Unit for Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.

Other projects completed at this site include:

Boiler House - £90k replacement glazing and main double doors to the boiler house and installation of an access control system to the new double doors.

Chemotherapy Suite - £160k four-phase refurbishment and modification to the existing first floor Chemotherapy Day Care Unit. The unit remained ‘live’ and operational throughout the works.

Corridor Lighting - £500k upgrade of corridor lighting over four phases.

Clinical Trials Unit - £120k refurbishment of the Professorial Unit.

Derwent Block A - £220k refurbishment of lighting, luminaires, small power and containment, fire alarm system and telecoms / data wiring.

Edward Court Redevelopment - £350k redevelopment of existing buildings and car park.

External Lighting Refurbishment - £450k upgrade of external lighting system over six phases at both NUH NHS campuses.

Linden Lodge - £43k upgrade to the nurse call system.

Maternity Assessment Service - £50k modifications to the existing ante-natal room within the Maternity Unit.

Mobile Breast Screening Units - £65k provision of an electrical supply, a water supply and drainage outlet for the use of a Mobile Breast Screening Unit in five separate locations.

National Breast Institute - £220k modifications within the basement area of Ropewalk House in Nottingham and the ground floor of the NBI unit at City Hospital.

Out-Patients Department - £200k re-roofing project consisting of the temporary removal and then reinstallation of M&E services.

Patient Hotel - £400k removal of existing nurse call system and installation of new Codemlon nurse call system.

Pay-on-Exit Car Parks - £200k installation to replace pay-on-display system with pay-on-exit system.

Radiology Department - £130k replacement of the existing JEL and Carrier control systems with a new Schneider BMS control system, whilst ensuring systems remained running at all times.

Oncology Outpatients - £150k modifications to the reception desk, new suspended ceilings to the waiting areas and corridor.

Trust HQ Heating Infrastructure Upgrade - £150k installation of new gas fired boiler plant together with associated LPHW distribution pipework to existing headers, gas pipework and controls.
